Job summary

Westdale is seeking an energetic, organized Community Manager to oversee a residential property in Shreveport, LA. You will manage financials and operations while delivering outstanding service to residents.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years on-site apartment management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook and Yardi. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of on-site apartment management experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; Yardi or similar software.
• Strong bookkeeping and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; superior customer service.
• Available evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial and operational accountability for the property.
• Coordinate staff and resources to meet property objectives.
• Renew leases with residents and resolve issues; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Record resident data: traffic, leasing activity, renewals, and collections.
• Hire, train, motivate and supervise staff.

Rate: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually (Salary exempt position)
Monthly new lease and renewal AND quarterly performance bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and goal-drivenmanagerfor an established national multi-family property management company to manage our community in Shreveport, Louisiana! As Community Manager, you will be responsible for the financial success of our residential multi-family property, while delivering quality, attentive management for our residents. The perfect candidate must have strong customer service and management skills and must also possess a strong sense of urgency and adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment. If you have a successful track record of accomplishments in on-site apartment management, then we want to meet you!

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of manager experience on a conventional apartment community.
• Must have computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardior other similar programs.
• Strong bookkeeping and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Effective mentoring, coaching, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) is a plus!
• Must be available evenings, nights, and weekends for staffing needs and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial and operational accountability for the property
• Managing and coordinating persons, activities, and available resources in order to accomplish property objectives as set forth by the Regional Director and property owner
• Working with residents to renew leases, resolve problems, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Recording resident data such as traffic, leasing activity, renewals, and collection activity
• Hiring, training, motivating, and supervising staff

9:00 am - 6:00 pm; Must be available evenings, nights, and weekends for staffing needs and emergencies.

Required License or Certification

Valid Driver's License in Louisiana, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property.
