Job summary

Audubon in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an experienced Community Manager to lead day-to-day leasing operations, budgets and staff coordination at a multi-family property.

You will inspect units, supervise maintenance, manage rent collection, enforce policies, and drive resident retention through renewal programs while maintaining compliance and reporting.

Strong communication, reliability, and knowledge of Entrata or similar software preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a multi-family community manager is required.
• Working knowledge of Entrata or other property management software.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Proven ability to market communities and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day leasing operations.
• Inspect units and minimize rental arrears.
• Oversee maintenance and timely completion of work orders.
• Manage invoices, rent rolls, delinquency and financial reports.
• Supervise staff, coordinate training, and conduct performance reviews.
• Lead marketing activities and supervise leasing team to maximize occupancy.
• Handle additional duties to support community operations.
