Job summary

Hunt Military Communities seeks a Community Director in Del Rio, TX. Under the Director of Operations, you will provide operational and financial oversight for the assigned community to meet company goals, covering personnel, leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, and compliance with laws and policies.

You will lead a team, drive revenue and occupancy, manage government relations, and report on performance while maintaining safety and quality standards across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or property management preferred.
• Five years of property leasing experience required.
• Two years experience managing others required.
• Experience with YARDI preferred.
• Minimum three to five years in property management or operations, budgeting and financial analysis required.
• Operational management experience in property management preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with military community and management levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs staff management tasks including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching and disciplining.
• Liaises with Government entities and maintains communication with local offices.
• Manages daily operations of multi-family housing property and government transactions as needed.
• Manages finances within approved budgets and focuses on cash flow after debt service.
• Leads team to achieve income and occupancy through sales, service, and relationship management.
• Analyzes operations to improve performance and identifies revenue opportunities.
• Monitors market forces and develops strategies to maximize occupancy.
• Prepares progress reports and communicates changes between on-site management and residents/military partners.
• Oversees maintenance and property safety, and ensures timely service requests completion.
• Supports marketing initiatives and maintains knowledge of local market trends.
