Job summary

City & County Credit Union seeks a Community Mortgage Advisor to drive first and second mortgage business by cultivating relationships with realtors, builders and financial professionals in the Minnesota area. You will develop a robust referral network and guide borrowers through loan processes, ensuring accuracy and timely closings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Must be eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS).
• Must be highly organized and self-motivated with ability to manage daily workflow with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new mortgage and home equity business through community relationships and self-sourced networks.
• Develops and maintains a pipeline of referral sources.
• Explains mortgage programs, fees, terms to borrowers and partners.
• Inputs loan applications into the LOS and reviews DU findings for underwriting.
• Coordinates with underwriter, processor, closer to ensure timely closing and funding.
