Job summary

City & County Credit Union is seeking a Community Mortgage Advisor in Saint Paul to develop and drive first and second mortgage opportunities through realtor and community partnerships. You will manage a robust pipeline, explain programs, gather documentation, and coordinate with underwriters to support timely closings.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred), at least 3 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer, and proficiency with mortgage systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Proficiency with Windows-based PC applications and mortgage origination systems.

Responsibilities

• Solicits mortgage and home equity business through community networks.
• Networks to build a pipeline of referral sources and opportunities.
• Explain mortgage programs, fees, and terms to partners and borrowers.
• Interview borrowers and collect information for loan applications.
• Input applications into the LOS and review DU findings.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely closings.
• Lock rates with borrowers and investors; promote other products.
