Community Financial System, Inc. is hiring a Mortgage Loan Consultant within our Retail Banking Team. You will originate mortgage loans to meet production goals and ensure compliance with bank policies and investor guidelines, while delivering superb customer service.

Grow your realtor and referral network, educate clients on loan programs, guide applications through closing, and expand relationships across deposit, wealth, and other banking services.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Specialized banking and lending education and training.
• Valid driver's license.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Grow your pipeline by networking with realtors and referral sources.
• Educate customers on loan programs and underwriting guidelines.
• Oversee the loan application lifecycle with underwriting, processing and closing teams.
• Represent the bank at local business and community events.
• Cross-sell banking services to expand relationships.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state mortgage regulations.
