Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking an experienced Community/Property Manager to lead resident relations, budget oversight, and compliance across our communities. This role emphasizes delivering excellent service, managing budgets, and driving occupancy while maintaining strong partnerships with residents and staff.

You will collaborate with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective operations, with a focus on LIHTC compliance and delivering a high-quality resident experience.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in property management.
• 2+ years as community/property manager.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capacity to interact effectively with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Resident relations and customer service across the resident life-cycle.
• Manage budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals.
• Prepare monthly reports and financials in a timely fashion.
• Coordinate with Regional Manager on the Property Annual Operating Budget.
• Ensure 0% rent delinquency and timely utility and vendor payments.
• Oversee on-site operations, vendor relationships, and compliance matters.
• Promote teamwork, training, and development within the property team.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and local regulations.
