Job summary

Mark-Taylor, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring a Manager of Community Operations (Community Manager) to lead on-site teams, elevate service, and maintain luxury multifamily communities while driving profitability.

You will manage maintenance, leasing operations, and budgeting, mentor staff through coaching, and coordinate HR processes. The role requires 3+ years of people management, 2+ years in luxury multifamily operations, and proficiency with Resman or Yardi; BA preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years people management experience.
• 2+ years of operational experience in luxury multifamily as a Community Manager or similar.
• Lease-up experience highly preferred.
• Third party management experience required.
• Demonstrated coaching and development ability.
• BA degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Financial acumen with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills and professional presence.
• Experience using ResMan, Yardi, or similar platforms is desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates, managing operating expenses, and reviewing monthly financial reports.
• Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel through tactical planning.
• Oversee hiring and ongoing employee performance management through HR processes.
• Conduct regular property inspections and drive property enhancements.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $75,000-85,000/year.
• In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible to receive bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics.

In This Role You Will

• Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates, managing operating expenses, and diligently monitoring aged delinquency. Prepare and review monthly financial reports with intuitive forecasting and a proactive plan for the financial performance of the asset
• Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel, coordinating their activities and individual goals through tactical planning
• Oversee the hiring process and ongoing employee performance management through courageous conversations and applicable HR processes.
• Conduct regular property inspections, propose, and own the resolution plan and execution of property enhancements.
