Job summary

BRG Realty Group, LLC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our apartment community in the Covington area. You will lead leasing and maintenance activities, drive occupancy, and maintain positive resident relations while supervising staff and ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong customer service, and the ability to manage budgets and vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 3 years property management experience (preferred)
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed
• Strong tenant relations and customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of assigned apartment community including leasing and maintenance operations.
• Regularly supervise at least two employees.
• Maintain satisfactory occupancy and collection levels.
• Resolve resident concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Enforce lease agreements and community rules.
• Monitor and oversee maintenance activities.
• Manage rent collection, posting payments, and deposits.
• Assist in annual operating and capital budget preparation.
• Inspect model and vacant apartments; maintain curb appeal and amenities.
• Review property performance with Portfolio Manager; monitor against budget.
• Approve expenditures and issue purchase orders; oversee vendor relations.
• Represent the company in eviction court when needed.
• Lead and motivate leasing and maintenance staff.
• Monitor online marketing to keep unit availability and pricing current.
• Enter leads into Yardi and follow up promptly.
