Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager in California to oversee day-to-day operations of a multi-family community, lead a team, and drive occupancy and revenue goals. You will manage budgeting, leasing, maintenance coordination, and owner relationships while ensuring compliance with housing laws and company policies.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years of property management experience, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and proficiency with Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4–6 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection of rent and fees.
• Review invoices from vendors and manage payments with proper coding and approvals.
• Oversee lease processes, renewals, inspections, and notice requirements.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and petty cash to align with approved financial plans.
• Supervise staff, hire, orient, train, and evaluate performance.
• Maintain owner relationships and provide performance updates as needed.
