Job summary

The Laramar Group LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a Community Manager to lead operations of designated properties and maximize occupancy and revenue. You will supervise a team, manage leasing, and ensure LIHTC compliance while delivering exceptional resident support.

Responsibilities include budgeting within constraints, maintaining resident relations, and driving high retention rates. A high school diploma is required; college degree and LIHTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred in related field.
• At least 2 years in residential property management; managerial experience required.
• Experience with LIHTC property management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality customer service.
• Oversee and directly manage operations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Follow budget constraints while maintaining property quality.
• Document financial goals, expenditures, and income accurately.
• Oversee leasing process, including applications, pricing, and renewals.
• Ensure LIHTC compliance and affordable housing requirements.
• Maintain resident files per LIHTC program requirements.
• Lead and develop staff through training and performance management.
• Foster strong resident relations and timely issue resolution.
• Communicate with owners to ensure high retention and successful events.
