Job summary

Connect Staffing and Consulting in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Community Manager to lead daily operations of an apartment community, overseeing financial results, on-site team, leasing activity, resident relations, and property condition.

You will manage the annual operating budget, rent collection, and financial reporting; supervise hiring, training, payroll, and performance; drive leasing and marketing to reach occupancy goals and ensure upkeep. CMA credential and Yardi experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Property Manager or Community Manager.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and resident relations.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the annual operating budget, oversee rent collection and expenses, and prepare financial reports.
• Lead on-site team, including hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, and performance management.
• Oversee leasing and marketing activities, aim for occupancy goals, set rental rates, and manage renewals.
• Build positive relationships with residents and support community activities.
• Inspect the community, coordinate with maintenance, and manage vendor relationships.
• Apply property policies and procedures consistently and professionally.
