Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, budgeting, and resident relations, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting experience, and knowledge of Fair Housing laws. A CAM/ARM or housing industry background is preferred, with reliable transportation and ability to work varied hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years in housing industry or equivalent.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor deposits and rent collections.
• Plan yearly marketing and leasing strategies to achieve NOI goals.
• Respond to resident concerns and maintain high levels of resident satisfaction.
