Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment community operations, implement company policies, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and investor requirements. You will lead leasing, maintenance coordination, and financial reporting, while driving tenant satisfaction and profitability.

The role requires 3+ years of property management experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and Fair Housing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification preferred; OSHA knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Maintain records and prepare reports (rent rolls, delinquency, move-ins/move-outs).
• Prepare annual budgets and income projections; ensure timely rent collection and deposits.
• Review, code, and approve invoices; handle make-ready units and common areas.
• Oversee leasing staff; pursue renewals and manage evictions when needed.
• Ensure leasing complies with federal, state, and local laws and policies.
