Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an apartment community in Colorado. You will implement company policies, supervise staff, and ensure budgetary control, leasing targets, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification required before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community software applications.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Support staff to encourage teamwork and lead as an example in creating a harmonious environment; manage timing of HR processes.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• File reports regarding work-related injuries and maintain accurate community records.
• Prepare annual budgets and income projections; ensure rents and late fees are collected and posted.
• Review, code, and approve invoices for payments; make daily bank deposits.
• Ensure the property is rented to its fullest capacity; oversee marketing strategies for prospective residents.
• Supervise Leasing staff; handle evictions and landlord liens; maintain resident files.
• Ensure residents have a clean, safe, well-maintained community; respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Prepare for inspections and report policy violations; develop and enforce community rules.
