Job summary

Greystar, a leading global real estate platform, is seeking a Property/Community Manager in Newport Beach, CA. Manage day-to-day operations, lead a team, and ensure financial and regulatory compliance for a 375-unit stabilized property.

Requires 3–5 years in community management, proficiency with Yardi 7s, and strong budget, leasing, and leadership skills. Eligible for housing discounts and robust benefits. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing and customer service to run an apartment community.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into budget development by analyzing financial statements and evaluating reports.
• Meets targeted revenues by setting rents and collecting payments; prepares monthly financial status reports.
• Approves invoices from vendors and manages communications between vendor, accounting and owner.
• Controls expenditures within the approved budget and oversees petty cash balance.
• Oversees lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, notices, and late fees per lease terms.
• Analyzes market trends and implements short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and maintenance requests promptly; ensures maintenance standards.
• Conducts property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Supervises staff through hiring, training, and performance management.
• Assists in managing client/owner relationships and provides property performance updates.
• California: follow California Lease File Checklist for lease documentation.
