Job summary

Independent Management Services in the United States manages multifamily communities with focus on affordable housing and workforce programs. You will oversee daily operations, leasing, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with federal programs and company policies.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and on-site teams to maintain safe, well-managed communities.

Qualifications

• Leasing, sales and customer service experience ideal.
• Familiar with Tax Credit Compliance, EIV, HUD Section 8 programs.
• Knowledge of REAC and MOR compliance preferred.
• Proficient with Paycom and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the community.
• Manage occupancy, marketing, leasing, move-in/out, and income verification.
• Conduct quarterly unit inspections and monitor maintenance projects.
• Enforce community rules and handle rent collection per policy.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and manage accounts payable.
• Foster relationships with residents, vendors, and law enforcement.
