Related Affordable is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our CA multi-family community. You will oversee leasing, maintenance, budgets, and resident relations to create a thriving, well-maintained living environment.

You will manage a team, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and drive operational excellence while building a resident-centered culture. The role offers competitive benefits, paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, etc.).
• Strong financial acumen including budget management and accounting principles.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards.
• Proven leadership with direct supervisory experience.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on living experiences for residents.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues professionally.
• Accountability and reliability with precision and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise office and maintenance staff.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, renewals, and admin tasks.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, delinquency.
• Foster resident relations and resolve tenant conflicts.
• Supervise maintenance and ensure quality service.
• Develop and manage the property budget.
• Prepare reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead special projects to enhance community operations.
