Related Affordable is seeking a skilled Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing community in Madison, TN. You will oversee leasing, maintenance, budget management, and compliance with housing programs while delivering a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

You will manage a team, coordinate with residents and vendors, generate reports, and drive improvements that sustain high performance and resident satisfaction in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC, etc.).
• Strong financial acumen, including budgets and accounting.
• Experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards.
• Proven leadership with direct supervisory experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise office and maintenance staff.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and admin.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, delinquency.
• Foster resident relations and resolve tenant disputes.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs.
• Supervise property maintenance and service quality.
• Develop and manage the property budget.
• Prepare reports to track performance and identify improvements.
• Lead special projects to enhance the community.
