Related Affordable in San Francisco is seeking a Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our affordable housing communities. You will manage a team, oversee leasing, maintenance, and compliance with programs like LIHTC and HUD, and drive financial performance while delivering a high-quality living experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in property management, strong budgeting skills, and hands-on experience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards.

Qualifications

3+ years of property management experience.
Expertise in affordable housing programs (Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC).
Strong financial acumen including budgeting and accounting.
Experience with RealPage, OneSite and JD Edwards (or similar property management software).
Proven leadership with direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire your team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and administrative functions.
Ensure financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquency management.
Build relationships with residents and handle tenant/landlord relations including conflict resolution.
Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC, etc.).
Supervise property maintenance and ensure timely, high-quality service.
Develop and manage the property’s budget.
Prepare key reports to track performance and opportunities for improvement.
Take on special projects to enhance the community.
