Job summary

CHOC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee daily operations of an affordable housing community in Fairfield, CA. You will ensure regulatory compliance, financial performance, and resident satisfaction through leasing, services, supervision, and vendor coordination.

This full-time role reports to the Regional Manager. Requirements include 3+ years in affordable property management (LIHTC/HUD), proficiency with Yardi and MS Office, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in affordable property management (LIHTC, HUD, or similar).
• Strong understanding of leasing processes, rent collection, and compliance documentation.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proficiency in property management software (Yardi preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lease & compliance administration for residents to meet program requirements.
• Manage financial operations including rent collection and invoices.
• Oversee facilities and maintenance, conduct inspections, and safety tasks.
• Coordinate tenant relations and resident services with staff.
• Supervise on-site maintenance and office staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting for affordable housing programs.
