Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager – Affordable to support property operations, ensure LIHTC/HUD compliance, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role mentors leasing teams and drives resident satisfaction on an on-site property in a collaborative environment.

You will manage rent postings, bank deposits, and financial reporting using Yardi, while upholding fair housing guidelines and maintaining strong relationships with housing authorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience.
• LIHTC experience required.
• Leadership and supervising staff preferred.
• Experience using Yardi or related property management accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Verify income and monitor rent limits for LIHTC/HUD programs and prepare for inspections.
• Lease apartments and respond to resident inquiries promptly to drive retention.
• Mentor leasing team members and support the Community Manager in daily operations.
