Job summary

Landmark Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance program for our community and preserve asset value. The role emphasizes interior and exterior upkeep and a customer service driven, team-oriented approach.

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, assist with repairs, inspections, and inventory, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. The position requires weekend/after-hours availability for emergencies and a commitment to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Must have excellent communication and people skills.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment.
• Assist with maintenance operations and repairs of the property.
• Monitor inventory of parts and supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Report time and attendance.
• Make daily inspections of the community.
• Adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information.
• Understand resident needs and exceed expectations.
• Develop a sense of community among residents and staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents and parents.
• Maintain a positive environment and encourage event participation.
• Assist with organizing and implementing a successful turn.
• Ensure service requests are completed promptly.
• Be available on weekends and after hours for emergencies.
• Understand, communicate, and enforce safety and emergency procedures.
• Document and address behaviors violations and safety risks.
• Inspect the property condition and report problems to supervisors.
