Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years general residential maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems.
• EPA 608, Type II or Universal, and Certified Pool Operator, Type I; obtain within 12 months if not possessed.
• Must have reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the community and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to work orders.
• Monitor and maintain permits for operating the property (pool, elevator, etc.).
• Assist the Community Manager with supervising outside contractors.
• Inspect vacant units during and after make-readies.
• Create maintenance budgets and manage supplies; control expenditures.
