Job summary

Gables Residential is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the service manager by coordinating maintenance, training, and safety, while ensuring move-in readiness and curb appeal across the property. The role emphasizes teamwork, scheduling, and cost control in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, prioritizing service requests, and maintaining high customer service standards to enhance resident satisfaction and property value.

Qualifications

• One to two years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related field.
• Renovation experience may be required for older properties built 5+ years ago.
• Ability to read and write English for safety and productivity reasons

Responsibilities

• Assist service manager with providing technical skills and training to service team.
• Attend and participate in technical training programs to maintain personal skill level.
• Assist with staffing schedules and staff development under supervision of service manager.
• Monitor inventory and obtain competitive bids for major expenses under supervision.
• Ensure service requests and repairs are completed correctly and timely.
