Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Maintenance Assistant under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Director. The role focuses on overseeing the community safety program and maintaining a secure resident home while ensuring compliance with policy and regulations.

A primary duty is sustaining a preventative maintenance program for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems, while promptly handling all maintenance requests and performing minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required.
• Senior living experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the community safety program and maintain a secure resident home.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment.
• Complete maintenance requests promptly, including scheduled and emergency work.
• Repair, replace, or install minor equipment, hardware and controls as directed.
• Maintain water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, and kitchen equipment.
• Carry out exterior maintenance duties and keep plumbing systems in good order.
• Participate in fire and disaster drill activities with residents and staff.
• Engage with residents in a compassionate and dignified manner.
