Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support our community under the Maintenance Director. You will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming residence for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include managing the safety program, preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and handling routine and urgent maintenance requests with prompt, professional service. Experience in senior living is preferred, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required.
• Prior senior living experience desired.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees community safety program and maintains secure resident areas.
• Maintains preventive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment.
• Completes all maintenance requests, scheduled and emergency response.
• Performs exterior maintenance duties as required.
• Conducts fire and disaster drills with residents and staff.
• Engages residents with compassionate, dignified interactions.
