Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Maintenance Assistant to perform essential preventative maintenance and repairs for agency buildings and grounds. You will ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment while solving problems with integrity and ownership of the spaces we serve.

The role requires strong physical capability, the ability to travel to off-site locations, and a commitment to teamwork and safety as part of our facilities team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus building trades vocational training.
At least 3 years of full-time maintenance experience.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Natural leader able to direct diverse groups with respect.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry and building repairs, including furniture, cabinets, and partitions.
Install doors, locks, and hardware with a focus on quality.
Maintain playground equipment and handle weatherization and painting.
Prune, mow, and install landscaping materials to keep grounds well-maintained.
Estimate material costs and coordinate with the Superintendent to prepare purchase orders.
Conduct weekly inspections of Agency vehicles and maintain SDS/MSDS records.
Attend required training and maintain certifications.
Travel to off-site locations and collaborate with division leadership.
