Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests for the community. You will focus on customer service, make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and preventative tasks, ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment.

The role requires responding to requests, coordinating with the team, and performing electrical and plumbing work as needed, with on-site duties including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills as it relates to apartment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
• Maintain community appearance and perform repairs as required.
• Accurately complete records in Onesite regarding service requests and make-readies.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and other tasks.
