Related Affordable is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in New York, NY to lead technicians, manage make-ready processes, and uphold high standards for buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional service across our affordable housing community.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in maintenance with supervisory experience, proficient with Real Page One Site or similar software, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Real Page One Site or similar property management software preferred.
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• Affordable housing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders from resident requests by diagnosing issues and repairs per safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards across the community.
• Inspect the building and property daily and address safety issues promptly.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Provide budget recommendations for maintenance line items to the Community Manager.
• Order and maintain inventory of building materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain bids for repairs.
• Ensure upkeep of building common areas and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
