Job summary

The Caring Community of CT in Riley House, Ledyard, is seeking a Community Living Specialist. This opening is based in Riley House (Ledyard). Current schedule: Mon 2p-9p, Thu 4p-12a, Fri 4p-11p, Sat 4p-11p, Sun 8a-4p.

You will support individuals with daily living activities, assist with mobility, provide basic medical care, and complete notes and incident reports as part of a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and behavioral support plans.
• Assist with physical mobility and transfers using approved training and equipment.
• Provide basic medical support and medication administration according to required training and certification.
• Complete service notes, reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and protect individuals from abuse and neglect.

Schedule: Open Shift

Pay: $20.16/hr

Days: Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun

Weekly schedule: Mon 2p-9p | Thu 4p-12a | Fri 4p-11p | Sat 4p-11p | Sun 8a-4p

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and their behavioral support plans.

• Provide basic medical support and medication administration according to required training and certification.
• Complete service notes, reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow agency policies to protect individuals from abuse and neglect.
• Provide transportation in a safe and lawful manner.
• Attend required training and maintain applicable CPR, first aid, and medication administration certifications.
• Work cooperatively with individuals served, families, supervisors, and other team members.
