Job summary

Caring Community of Conn Inc in Colchester, CT is hiring a Community Living Specialist for August House. Schedule: Mon Tue Fri 3p-9p, Sat 4p-11p, Sun 9a-8p; pay: $20.16/hr.

You will support individuals with daily living activities, assist with mobility, provide basic medical support and medication administration, complete service notes, and maintain a safe environment. You will also transport clients and attend trainings, collaborating with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and behavioral support plans.
• Assist with physical mobility and transfers as needed.
• Provide basic medical support and medication administration as trained.
• Complete service notes, reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow agency policies to protect individuals from abuse and neglect.
• Provide transportation in a safe and lawful manner.
• Attend required training and maintain CPR, first aid, and medication administration certifications.
• Work cooperatively with individuals served, families, supervisors, and team members.

Pay: $20.16/hr

Weekly schedule: Mon 3p-9p | Tue 3p-9p | Fri 3p-9p | Sat 4p-11p | Sun 9a-8p

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and their behavioral support plans.

• Attend required training and maintain applicable CPR, first aid, and medication administration certifications.
