Job summary

The Caring Community of CT is hiring a Community Living Specialist based at Drew House in Franklin. The role focuses on assisting individuals with daily living activities and providing compassionate care.

You will support with mobility, medication administration under training, complete notes, and work with families and team members. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and their behavioral support plans.
• Assist with physical mobility and transfers when needed, using approved training and equipment.
• Provide basic medical support and medication administration according to required training and certification.
• Complete service notes, reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow agency policies to protect individuals from abuse and neglect.
• Provide transportation in a safe and lawful manner.
• Attend required training and maintain applicable CPR, first aid, and medication administration certifications.
• Work cooperatively with individuals served, families, supervisors, and other team members.

Location: Drew House (Franklin)

Schedule: Open Shift

Pay: $20.16/hr

Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
