Job summary

The Caring Community of CT is seeking a Community Living Specialist to join our Colchester team at duPree House. You will work Tue–Sat with a schedule of 3p–11p on Tue–Fri and 9a–5p on Sat, supporting individuals with daily living activities and behavioral plans.

Responsibilities include mobility assistance, medication administration as trained, documentation, and ensuring a safe environment. CNA/CPR training and licensure may be preferred; training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.

• Provide basic medical support and medication administration as trained and certified.
• Complete service notes, reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow agency policies to protect individuals from abuse and neglect.
• Provide transportation in a safe and lawful manner.
• Attend required training and maintain CPR, first aid, and medication administration certifications.
• Work cooperatively with individuals served, families, supervisors, and other team members.

Pay: $20.16/hr
