Job summary

The Caring Community of CT in Salem is seeking a Community Living Specialist to support individuals at Fitch House. The role features an open shift pattern with scheduled days: Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, providing hands-on daily living support.

You will assist with mobility, basic medical tasks, documentation, transportation, and stay current on CPR/First Aid training and medication administration requirements. Health benefits and training opportunities are included.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities and their behavioral support plans.
• Assist with physical mobility and transfers when needed, using approved training and equipment.
• Provide basic medical support and medication administration according to required training and certification.
• Complete service notes, reports, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow agency policies to protect individuals from abuse and neglect.
• Provide transportation in a safe and lawful manner.
• Attend required training and maintain applicable CPR, first aid, and medication administration certifications.
• Work cooperatively with individuals served, families, supervisors, and other team members.

Schedule: Open Shift

Pay: $20.16/hr

Days: Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
