Job summary

Carolina Outreach in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Peer Support Services TCL to provide peer support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders, with a tenancy focus to support community living. The role collaborates with therapists and medical teams, delivering WRAP-based counseling and assisting with daily living skills.

The position requires a Highschool Diploma/GED with NC Peer Support certification and a valid NC driver’s license, and offers flexible hours

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma/GED and NC Certification program for Peer Support Specialists.
• At least 1 year of experience working in mental health.
• Valid and active driver's license in NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Help clients maintain housing stability and work toward personal recovery goals.
• Coordinate with therapists, medical providers, and support teams to ensure quality care.
• Respond to client needs and crises in the community, including after-hours support when necessary.
