Job summary

ncgCARE is seeking a full-time Peer Support Services TCL in Durham, NC to assist individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders, focusing on tenancy support and community integration. You will collaborate with therapists and healthcare teams to tailor care plans and promote recovery.

You will provide one-on-one peer support using WRAP, help with daily living skills, and offer flexible hours including crisis response.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and NC Certification for Peer Support Specialists.
• Must have a valid NC driver's license.
• Experience in community living support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Help clients maintain housing stability and work toward personal recovery goals.
• Coordinate with therapists, medical providers, and support teams to ensure quality care.
• Respond to client needs and crises in the community, including after-hours support when necessary.
