Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks a Community Life Services Coordinator for Creighton Renaissance in Richmond, VA.

This onsite, full-time role focuses on housing stabilization through referrals, coaching, and on-site programming with a goal of connecting families to education, workforce development, and health services. You will develop partnerships, supervise interns, and manage grants and contracts while ensuring culturally competent, trauma-informed programming for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in social work, human services, mental health, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Policies affecting housing or property management preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; Yardi knowledge preferred.
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships with community-based organizations and respond to diverse resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Community Success Plan for the site.
• Supervise interns and volunteers and ensure CSP execution.
• Coordinate with Property Management on work orders and rent issues.
• Engage 60% of households with rental arrears through direct contact or coaching.
• Oversee data collection via the Community Life Questionnaire and meet targets.
• Coordinate aging-in-place for seniors and economic mobility for families.
• Manage programming, partnerships, implementation, and assessment.
