Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks a Community Life Services Coordinator to coordinate community engagement opportunities for the Creighton Renaissance site in Richmond, VA.

Under the supervision of the Community Life District Manager, the CLSC will operationalize Creighton Renaissance and deliver quality programming across the site. Housing stabilization is the primary focus, achieved through referrals to local partners, on-site programming and individual coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in social work, human services, mental health, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Policies affecting housing and/or experience in property management preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; knowledge of Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Community Life CSP and coordinate activities with regular progress reporting.
• Supervise interns and volunteers and ensure accountability for the site’s CSP.
• Coordinate housing stabilization efforts through referrals, on-site programming, and coaching.
• Attend local meetings with community stakeholders and build partnerships to bring on-site programs to Creighton Renaissance.
