Job summary

Nambe Pueblo Library seeks a Library Coordinator to lead a community public library under the Health, Wellness, and Education Division. The role represents the library publicly, develops programs and materials, and manages budgeting information and facility operations.

The successful candidate will foster language expansion, cultural materials, and strong partnerships with Pueblo programs to broaden community support services.

Qualifications

  • Must pass a background and drug test.
  • Must possess a valid New Mexico driver's license and be insurable through the Pueblo of Nambe.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in management, operations and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and operate a quality public library.
  • Provide leadership and serve as the library's primary public representative.
  • Develop programs, develop collections and budgeting information.
  • Manage library facilities and reporting for grants or funding sources.
  • Coordinate services for families, language expansion, and culturally-relevant materials.
  • Assist patrons with print materials, equipment, and technologies; troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain capital assets inventory.
  • Assist with Community Events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
