Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Knowledge of a traditional craft and willingness to teach to classes/groups (e.g., leather work, beading, weaving, sewing).
• Experience/Basic Knowledge: Ability to work with students and others in a kind manner.
• Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity to use a computer, ability to sit/stand for long periods, bend and stoop, lift/move boxes up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with learning the craft and participating in classes.
• Help with planning, coordinating, and supervising activities to engage students.
• Assist attendees during classes to ensure engagement and participation.
• Submit timesheets to ensure pay for hours worked.
