Job summary

Pueblo of San Felipe is seeking a Tutor & Homework Helper to assist students at the library with homework and to implement literacy and math programs. The role supports after-school, weekend, and summer activities designed to engage students and the community with educational programming.

The position involves working with Education Department staff, supporting students and adults during library visits, and ensuring accurate timesheet submissions for hours worked.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or high school equivalency preferred.
• Ability to work with students and others in a kind manner.
• Physical requirements: sit and stand for long periods; lift up to 25 lbs.
• San Felipe and Veteran’s Preference preferences.

Responsibilities

• Assist all students with homework.
• Implement reading and math program for additional learning.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to students.
• Help plan, coordinate, and supervise activities and events.
• Assist during rotations to keep students engaged.
• Assist with library needs when available.
• Assist with activities for students and adults visiting the library.
• Support Education Director and staff; submit timesheets.
