Job summary

Qualifications

• Speak, write and understand English well for effective communication.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of safe food handling in an industrial kitchen environment.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely (dishwasher, sinks, etc.).
• ServSafe Food Handler certification required within 6 months.
• Safe From Harm training to be completed within first 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals at assigned times.
• Prepare meals per ServSafe standards and ensure proper ingredients.
• Taste items to confirm quality and ingredients.
• Assist with meal service and sack lunches for clients.
• Ensure deliveries are checked in and stored properly.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation for next service.
