Job summary

The Atlantic District is seeking an Elite Insurance Agent to engage with Bowie residents and local businesses, assessing risk and tailoring insurance solutions. You will build a trusted presence in the community, moving away from robotic sales toward genuine relationships.

Applicants should have a Maryland P&C license and 3+ years in insurance sales or high-volume client services, with a proven ability to meet sales targets and explain complex policies clearly.

Qualifications

• Current Property & Casualty insurance license in Maryland.
• Three or more years of experience in insurance sales or high-volume client services.
• Strong ability to explain complex policy details in plain language.
• Consistent track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
• Technical comfort with industry-standard quoting software and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated history of building a client base from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients throughout the Bowie area to understand their risk management needs.
• Analyze existing policies to find gaps in coverage and offer smarter, more protective alternatives.
• Manage your own calendar to facilitate in-person meetings and community outreach events.
• Maintain accurate client records in our database to ensure seamless renewal and service experiences.
• Work closely with our underwriting team to craft unique solutions for clients with specialized requirements.
• Participate in local community gatherings to represent The Atlantic District and build lasting neighborhood connections.
