Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property and Casualty license.
• Three or more years in insurance sales or account management.
• Familiarity with Maryland regulations and market conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to handle a high volume of client inquiries.
• Proficiency with policy management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the specific insurance needs of new and existing clients to provide accurate recommendations.
• Prepare and present clear, competitive quotes that address potential risks.
• Manage and maintain a clean pipeline of prospective clients while nurturing current relationships.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure accurate policy issuance and modification.
• Communicate complex insurance concepts in plain language to ensure clients feel confident in their coverage.
• Participate in local community events to increase our agency's visibility and build trust in the Columbia area.
