Job summary

One More Child is seeking a Community Impact Coordinator for the Sarasota Campus to oversee daily operations of the Palm Garden Campus and the Vern and Sandy Buchanan Children’s Center. You will engage churches, donors, and volunteers to advance the organization’s mission to serve vulnerable children and families.

The role includes oversight of volunteer processes, community partnerships, and Child Hunger programming at the Azinger Compassion Center in Palmetto.

Qualifications

• It is beneficial to have two years of professional work and/or related education in nonprofit or community engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor databases; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Recruit individuals, churches, community groups, and businesses for tours and volunteer opportunities.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with donors, partners, and vendors.
• Represent OMC at speaking engagements and events in the community.
• Oversee the volunteer process including scheduling, orientation, and stewardship.
• Coordinate events and training for vulnerable children and families with staff support.
• Track monthly metrics related to volunteer engagement and partnerships.
