Children's Home Society of Florida is seeking a Mentoring Volunteer Coordinator to connect volunteers with children and families in West Palm Beach. The role focuses on recruitment, engagement, and support of volunteers who positively impact children and families in the community.

What You'll Do

As our Mentoring Volunteer Coordinator, you'll lead efforts to recruit, engage, and support volunteers who make a meaningful impact on children and families.

Community Engagement & Volunteer Leadership

• Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, businesses, and local partners
• Recruit, screen, onboard, train, and support volunteers
• Match volunteers with meaningful opportunities
• Promote volunteer programs through community outreach and networking
• Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries

Program Coordination

• Coordinate volunteer activities, projects, and special events
• Track volunteer participation, hours, and program outcomes
• Create volunteer training materials and newsletters
• Facilitate ongoing communication with school staff, community partners, and CHS team members
• Partner with program staff to identify volunteer needs
• Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment
• Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives
