Job summary

POAH Communities is seeking a Community Impact Coordinator to serve as the liaison between residents and the Community Impact department at Chestnut Gardens and Olympia Square in Lynn, MA. The role supports supportive services and community development across properties.

The ideal candidate has experience in resident services, strong coordination skills, and familiarity with HUD rules. This is a full-time position based in Lynn, MA with benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in resident/social service programs (affordable housing preferred).
• Ability to work with and motivate diverse resident populations.
• Basic proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs by administering an annual resident survey.
• Develop and implement supportive service programming with residents, site staff and providers.
• Coordinate delivery of services with local human service providers.
• Identify programs for youth and families (health workshops, benefits enrollment, meal delivery, community activities).
• Maintain resident information confidentially per HUD guidance.
• Establish program targets, track progress and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Communicate with residents via newsletters, flyers, bulletins to inform about resources.
