Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is seeking a Community Impact Manager to expand access to housing programs across Los Angeles County. The role builds partnerships, leads outreach, and develops referral pipelines while coordinating with program sites.

This hybrid position requires travel, evening and weekend availability, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders to drive community impact.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug test, background check, and driving record check.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and CA Driver’s License with sufficient insurance.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for Habitat LA events.
• Three or more years of experience in community outreach, partnership development, government relations, disaster recovery, housing programs, or nonprofit services.

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach strategies and community partnerships; represent Habitat LA in meetings and events; generate referrals into Habitat LA programs.
• Support disaster recovery efforts through community outreach, homeowner engagement, and coordination of recovery activities.
• Manage strategic portfolios including neighborhood revitalization, grant-funded initiatives, and civic relationship-building with officials and agencies.
• Coordinate project tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement across outreach initiatives.
