Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in housing navigation, case management, or related.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based systems.
• Reliable transportation and CA driver’s license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct housing assessments and identify barriers to housing.
• Develop individualized housing support plans and assist members in achieving goals.
• Connect members with permanent housing opportunities and programs.
• Build relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and community partners.
• Assist with housing applications, documentation, and access to benefits.
• Help secure rental assistance, deposits, moving assistance, and resources.
• Advocate for members with landlords and service providers.
• Provide housing-focused case management, crisis intervention, and retention support.
• Educate members on tenant rights, budgeting, and independent living skills.
• Perform field and home visits and move-in support.
• Maintain documentation per program requirements.
